However, the years have not been kind to it as it has been reformulated several times. The longevity has decreased throughout the years, and the quality has dwindled as well. Thankfully, we got our hands on a bottle of the vintage eau de toilette version of this fragrance, and after many trials and errors, our inspired expression is now complete! Impulse is our version of Opium Pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent, and this amber spicy fragrance is warm and sweet. Hints of black currant in the opening are fruity and musky. The balsamic richness in the base is long lasting and hypnotizing. With our fragrance being an extrait de parfum, the longevity of our recreation will blow you out of the water.
